Playing Dress-Up

Summary: Xander insists on celebrating Halloween, but Spike refuses to go out trick-or-treating. So they compromise with costumes and role-play and the occasional bit of kink.

Dracula

"Can we go trick-or-treating, Spike?"

"No."

Xander produced an award-winning pout and gazed soulfully up through long spidery lashes.

"Xander, you know I don't..."

The wattage of the pout-and-puppy-eye combination was cranked up and a quiver of bottom lip was applied.

"Right. Pick a costume."

Xander didn't hesitate. "Dracula!"

Spike sighed and tried to remember where he'd put the wig and cloak

~~~~~
Half an hour later Xander is strolling through the trees behind the house when he is pinned by a hypnotic gaze.
"Well, aren't you a pretty one. You're going to do exactly as I say..."
"Yes... Master."
"Strip."
Ghost
"It's Halloween, Spike."
"Again?"
"Uhuh."
"And?"
"Ghost."
~~~~~

They had discovered through trial and error that silk was the best for this particular game. And so, in double-quick time, Xander finds himself strapped to the iron-framed bed, rough cotton at his back to tease those nerve-endings while his front is draped from head to toe in yards of whisper-thin white silk. He's never sure if he's supposed to be the ghost, or if that's Spike, but after an hour or so of not-quite skin-to-skin contact he forgets to give a damn and instead expends his energy voicing pleas for sweet release.

Policeman

The knock at the door came two long, lonely hours after Spike had disappeared saying he had promised to go and play poker with Clem and some friends. Xander had sulked for an hour and then defiantly started in on the Halloween candy.

His mood changed once he looked through the peephole and saw the blond, uniformed officer standing outside, holding up a badge. He opened the door.

"Alexander Lavelle Harris? I'm Officer William Summers of Sunnydale PD. We've had a complaint from one of your neighbours about unnatural sexual practices being perpetrated on the premises. Can I come in?"

Van Helsing

"Can we try something different this year, Spike?"

Suspicion darkened vivid blue eyes as they scoured Xander's carefully crafted expression of innocence.

"I've told you before, I'm not going out trick-or-treating and I'd rather wear plaid than go to one of those stupid costume parties. What exactly do you have in mind?"

"I saw this movie last week at Buffy's. The hero was hot, even Tara thought so. I've already got the coat and the hat and..."

"All the Bit's talked about this week is that Van Helsing git. You can't mean..."

"Yeah, Spikey! I wanna play Stake the Vampire!"
